Now, the company is working on the total
inlplementation of the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System.
NAKASHIMA PHILIPPINES CORPORATION (NPL), a world-class manufacturer
of marine propellers and parts, is committed to the protection of the environment
in accordance with the requirements of ISO 14001 : 2004.
We are committed to comply with all applicable Envirorumental Laws and other Requirements:
• Periodic Testing of Water and Air Quality
• Control of Waste Haulers and Contractors
• Updating of necessary Permits and Records pertaining to PEZA, DENR,
DOLE, Fire Department and Customer Requirements.
We are committed towards prevention of pollution by reducing the different
impacts of our business operation on the environment thru:
• Effective Management of Hazardous and Non-biodegradable Waste
• Control of Sand Spill
• Con trol of Air Pollution
We shall set objectives, targets and programs in order to conserve natural resources, minimize wastes, provide a safe and healthy workplace and control pollution, such as:
• Waste Management
• Emergency Preparedness
• Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment
• And continuously review and inlprove our environment management system.
We are committed to ensure that this Environmental Policy shall be communicated and disseminated to all levels of employee ,vithin the organization and externally to Suppliers, Contractors and other interested parties, thru:
• Posting at strategic location
• Orientation
• Distribution of Copy upon request
To participate on the global awareness on environmental protection, the company had joined and will actively participate on all programs to protect and conselve our natural resources.
