Since standardizing the manufacture of small propellers , our company has invented a succession
of epoch-making products with sophisticated technology and abundant experience. Among them
there is the PBCF (Propeller Boss Cap Fins). It has been jointly developed by our company in
collaboration with Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. and West Japan Fluid Engineering Laboratory Co.,
Ltd. , and has obtained patents in various cow1tries. This superior energy saving device by way
of fitting fins to the boss cap has won the world's admiration. It goes without saying that our
products, including the PBCF, have been widely adopted by ocean going vessels in the world.
Some examples are:
1) The Kantaro, super cap for medium and small-sized boats, which was diversified from
the PBCF,
